Technically, a display of artistic nudes and erotic imagery sounds like a good idea. However, judging the images as "appropriate" is very subjective, and could easily create a stir in such a massive public event in tight-bottomed S'pore.
In Australia, their Sexpo had glamour makeover studios setting up booths and featuring such erotic work without raising a single eyebrow. In Singapore, I'm sure it would raise more than just eyebrows.
I suspect that the S'pore government wouldn't want such a mass public display of such images in a non-art kind of event. Besides, I foresee that such a display may encourage young and impressionistic S'poreans to create porn-ish images.
For the benefit of those who don't know, breasts are often flashed, bounced, danced (and whatever else you want to describe it) on stage in Australia's Sexpo. According to my Australian sources, several years ago, full-on nudity was performed on stage but later prohibited because it caused offence to even a generally liberal crowd as porn-ish. These days, the only nudity you see is Puppetry of the Penis.
While there are no signs that say photography is prohibited, security at the door and within the premises keep a watch on people who walk in armed with cameras.
