A tragic ending of the little tern chick

A very sad moment, when visiting the same old place of the tern and found the the chick had been crushed to dead by a stone. It was a tragic dead for the chick....not sure who had done such a inhuman thing to a cute living chick which it's had not even see the real world yet with only a week old.....very very very sad .....:bheart: and angry :angry: :cry:

If really caused by act of human purposely I curse that person.

Heard the bad news this afternoon too. Why would someone want to hurt a defenceless, cute little bird baffles me. :dunno:

Thanks for posting the picture, Meerkat. I was shock to hear the sad sad news on Sunday afternoon. The little guy was still very active in the morning.

yes it is saddening, any pics of the position of the rock ? Most prob it was doen by a cyclist.??
