hi all

i'm thinking that there should be a new section for experiments and digitallised images...

why i suggested this? simple...here's an example:

it's totally a good experiment that is in the wrong section (street & candid)...i think it should be in a section that showcases experimented images :D

I agree that some CS members have recently posted some extremely PSed works which, IMO, have left the realm of photography. Call me a stick in the mud, but this is a forum for photography, not digital art. However, I see no reaction from the moderators so ok, fine with me.

It would be nice that they have their own corner as khairi has described, so boring people like me won't accidently blunder in. :blah:

question:
let's say, if photography is considered an 'art' form ... and if one uses a digital camera as an image capture device ... doesn't that qualify as 'digital art'? kekeke, ok, me just kicking up a storm in a tea cup

No response from us doesn't mean we are not looking into it. :D

FYI, this has been brought up before, and, errr ... we are still deliberating.

ha ha...once a photo becomes digital art...it needs a place of it's own :D

You can post in Digital Darkroom, and share your work flow. :D

it's an ok and not ok idea hmmm

to have a gallery for itself would be better...cos digital darkroom is where misc talks happens...

i tink it would be ok to post in digital darkroom and then share the workflow from there......perhaps a sticky should be created to explain the multiple uses of the digital darkroom other than juz asking questions...

cheers....
