A Holga Question

Just wondering, on a normal day afternoon, say abit cloudy but still bright, if to use Holga to shoot, what ISO film should I buy if I want to x-process to get decently exposed pix?

erm i shld be last person to 'advise' u but get above ISO400 is possible since you do need to underexp to get some funky colors and ruby shld be able to do it (or at least i think) give them a call lor

I thought must overexpose for X-pro?

Not trying to get technical...just wanna get 1 good shot out of a roll of slide to use for my room...

Holga itself can't be "controlled" so I thought at least control the film lor, expensive mah....

Most people will overexpose by 1 to 2 stops. It gives different results, some says. But it is dependent on the film used as well.

holga cannot change anything one leh...

err.. i'm not sure about u guys but i've tried setting 50 on my lca with a 100 slide (xpro), only to get over-exposed films. nowadays, i always set at the same asa as the film, and i feel that it gives me better results.
well for holga the problem is there isnt a light meter, the film tend to get underexposed even on negatives. though u can always use long exposure or multiexposures to counter it.

aiyah max, don't think, just shoot. lomo is nothing like rocket science or other forms of photography. just whack.

but if you die die wanna make sure got 1 shot, use the sunny 16 rule. if you want to multiple exposure then you compensate yourself loh.

over can help, under no help except for tripod and double expose.

over can use ND filter. just screw into the cam

oh quite true ah. hahaha. got f11 and f8 right. shutter is at... 1/125? hmm. i think should not be much of a problem la? my girlfriend does like 3-4 exposures also on a bright sunny day. just whack loh.

sorry ah, too used to setting shutter speeds on my lubitel.

I think so far there's no real solution....but so far anyone use ISO400 slide to shoot in the day with holga? result how?

u'll have f11 and f8 only if ur holga has been modded. well, or purchase from holgamods.

Does your Holga have B setting? Mine does.

holgas with the 'N' has b setting. (eg 120N, 120CFN) well unless it's modded or purchased from holgamods once again.
