Nice works again Weiwu! Maybe will do some birding next year when I upgrade my telephoto zoom! heh :p

Nice shots, Weiwu. You need to take over the 300mm F2.8 You've got steady hands, don't need VR. :)

Very nice shots ! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

70-200 f4 non-IS

Ahhhh :) I think I've seen people using that before. If you get a 70-200 2.8, you can add a 2x extender and it works pretty nice! :)

Thanks KC! :) yup once I have the time, I'll process the other photos :D

Hey guys,

Just came back from my holidays at Krabi =) Finally had some time to process the old shots. Brought the 300 f2.8 to Sungei Buloh a few weeks back, put on a 2x teleconverter, and shot some birds, handheld. The mosquitoes are horrible!! Lesson learnt: always use insect repellent, or wear long sleeve. Gungho = nono.

47. Black-capped Kingfisher to start the series off!
