Hi
Nice shots, esp the King penguin one and the waterfall. Thumbs up!
Question:
1. How did you get rid of the glass effect - when I was there, the glass was not that clear so the shots were not that crispy.
I took those shots from the platform so I was a distance away. Also, I shot those penguins that were some distance back hence my cam didn't confuse on which to focus on.. the penguins or the water droplets on the glass.
2. What is the timing and exp for the waterfall shot? Long exp with tripod?
1.3sec, 1/3sec and 4 sec, then layer them together. Yup, at those shutter speeds, I have to use the tripod.
3. What is your camera set up? Lenses?
Canon 450D, shot everything yesterday with only 1 lens, 70-200mm f/4. you forgot the "L":sticktong
Thanks.
You're welcome.
Hi Thanks for the reply.
You mentioned that when you took the waterfall, you use 1.3sec, 1/3sec and 4 sec, then layer them together..... care to explain? really like to learn how to do that.
Are you using the layer in photoshop? Any other treatment needed? Thanks alot.
as above :bsmilie::bsmilie:
haha...who's humble now...:bsmilie::bsmilie:
parampita u layered the shots?
Aiyo paiseh, please. It's just a simple lens, small, no fast aperture, no IS.. and Canon didn't even border to manufacture it black to suit my cam colour.![]()
hi this is my 1st time posting in clubsnap...care to comment on my pic? thanks P&P for the guidance![]()
ONB, these are the 2 shots in question. Hoot the eye. It is particularly apparent in the second picture with the green coloured 鸟, cos the feathers behind the eyes are in focus. U agree?
Ok, maybe I just woke up so my mind still in the boot up process.. this was what I originally typed:
Yes, I do care to comment. It is a norm to start one's own thread to post one's own pictures.
As I typed the last few words my mind completed the boot process and I realized who u are. LOL! Come to think of it, this is also the first time I see your shots.
Did u shoot other birds? I feel the position of the duck not too good. Generally, we would want to shoot the subject facing us unless there is a compelling reason to shoot otherwise.
Hey, but for a first time attempt, good job!
