Update:
The noise filter function can be turned off TOTALLY on the 410/510.
You will get monochromatic grains even at ISO 100.
The 410 comes with four noise filter settings: OFF, LOW, STANDARD and HIGH.
So I think:
OFF to replicate film
LOW is probably for ISO 100 - 200
STANDARD for 400 - 800
and HIGH for 1600

From earlier tests, it is quite decent and generally, it would have made it easily to the top 5 among all DSLRs' Auto WB test...
But to compare to the E-1... you must be kidding me... Currently nothing beats the E-1. Unless you use a Colour Meter and manually adjust the WB value. LOL.

OM slr, hasselblad 503, large format, etc.. now looking for a general purpopse, compact, light weight dslr system for doing machine gun shots... streetphoto, family or friend gathering, etc. Hassy a bit mah huan sometime for these purposes.
