No I was not able too.

The Ice caves were not yet safe for visiting in early October.
As for the Blue lagoon we ran out of time.
Hope to visit it next time.

Thanks

Selfoss

Had to convert this to black and white to make it easier to remove the water spots that were showing on the photo.

Here is the shot taken of me while taking the picture above.
As you can see there was a lot of water spray which kept me wiping my filter before taking the next shot.

Here's the website where we got our Ford Explorer http://www.thrifty.is/ you can use this as a way to estimate the rental cost.
Although we booked our trip thru http://iceland.nordicvisitor.com/ which added between 200 to 300 USD to the total cost.
This is the tour we got from them http://iceland.nordicvisitor.com/travel-deals/self-drive-tours/iceland-full-circle/176/

But they also took care of all the hotel accomodations as well as airport transfers.

Gasoline cost about 2.15USD per liter.

It will take about 1700-1800km to do the full circle tour.

Food will cost you from 8 to 45USD depends on what you want to eat.
If you are just buying food from the grocery or petrol station then that will be cheap. But if you eat at the hotel then the minimum amount you will be spending is about 30USD just for a simple hot meal without drinks.

Try avoiding the months from June to August which are the most expensive months.

Amazing place! Really like the pictures from Geysir and Gullfoss Waterfall. The seascapes are also amazing!

SUPER AMAZING! Thanks for sharing all the awesome shots, hope to be able to travel there someday!

Very Nice pictures.. Thanks for continuing to share your pictures :-D
