9-18mm Limitation

Still got limit, plus forgot polarizer do what to which spectrum of the light, the only thing I think it did was acting like an ND filter, sucks up some light resulting in a need for longer exposure

Hmm, maybe that spectrum of light that got sucked up by the CPL made the scene looked better with Long Exposure???:D

Maybe?Hahahaha, but honestly,I can't remember which spectrum lol

Can some explain for long exposure shot, how come the shot turn up sharper if IS is turn off?

Been explained before, when IS is on, its always looking to compensate, when you mount on a tripod, it doesn't know, so it still moves to try to compensate, end up its compensating for nothing, resulting in shake

Do I remember it correctly that there was a firmware update in which the IS turns off automatically after detecting an exposure longer than 1 sec? cant verify, i know it was on this forum that I read about that also. To be safe turn it off. :bsmilie:

It is good to a certain extent, but what if I'm shooting handheld? I'm sure some with the right lens can shoot more than 1/4,probably even more than a sec, wouldn't it be irritating if IS turns off because of that? I may be old fashion, but I definitely vote to turn it off myself

I should have brought my 9-18 to it show to test with the EM5... wasted... ;(
