eastgear sells 4 x AA powerex for $20. they may still have a trade-in program.

anyway i got mine from south asia computer at funan for $17.90.

No longer trust vartar .... though "made in germany" wonder how true, the battery leaked after a few times of charging. Threw them away after that.

Powerex for now gives me pretty quick recycle times. No complaints so far.

Wah ... sure or not :think:

Problem? I know that some flashes can't take the batteries cos of their wrapping. Can't fit properly into the battery compartment.

My Vartar 2100s I charge on vartar super fast charger, less than 30min charge finish.
4 Vartars can last me very very long.
Also even if I leave them unused for 2 weeks, I am still able to use them, did not self dischange much
