haha...no lel...pw is given when u sign up de...the pcs of contract u sign...its wif it...ur username n pw...unless now they change system...but tat is if u sign up over the counter...

as for no tone for phone in room...mayb copper wiring gt prob lo...hehe

I signed up over at ComCentre, only username on the service contract. The modem instructions says both username n pw is in service contract :dunno:
Anyway last night I checked my mail box, and there is a letter from Singtel with the username n pw.
Tried it but still can't work, so must be due to no dial tone problem. Gotto check wif my contractor & Singtel on it.

I signed up over at ComCentre, only username on the service contract. The modem instructions says both username n pw is in service contract :dunno:
Anyway last night I checked my mail box, and there is a letter from Singtel with the username n pw.
Tried it but still can't work, so must be due to no dial tone problem. Gotto check wif my contractor & Singtel on it.

I hope you're not using the 2Wire 2700HG.. that is one PITA modem if you're a demanding user.

Must go home to see, its e free one, Thomson brand Singtel gave. Not wireless type.
BTW... got 2 options to connect to PC, through Ethernet cable or thru USB.
I suppose through Ethernet cable is better & faster :dunno:

Ethernet - the most stable.

I've got a feeling the one Sinktel supplied should be locked in either router or bridge mode.

Mine's switchable for use as a normal router OR can be used as a modem only.

haha...scali singtel only connect 1 pair of copper wire...haha...the other pair which is for ur room nt connected...:bsmilie:
