.... today woke up half hour late, so went out half hour late, decided to take taxi. JAM FROM BISHAN ALL THE WAY TO LORNIE!!!! ARGH!!!!
Took me 40 mins just to travel from Bishan to Lornie Road, when normally will take only 5 mins! I thought what happen, rush hour, then passed by a taxi with damaged front (hit a tree? :dunno: ) occupying a lane. Then suddenly ZOOM all smooth flowing. :angry: Should had bypassed the viaduct via Andrew Road.
Thought Farrer Road will jam again, told cabby to shortcut thru Kheam Hock Road, but when reached Farrer there's no jam.
Finally reached school 1 hour later, same travelling time as by MRT, and cost me $20!!!! :angry: Still late for lesson :cry: Normal taxi ride? 20 mins and 7 bucks.
Should had bypassed the busy junctions thru smaller roads.
Bypass Adam / Farrer Road to Bt Timah via Kheam Hock.
Bypass Lornie viaduct / Thomson junction via Andrew Road
Bypass Marymount / Upper Thomson junction via Shunfu Road.

wat i do is ask the uncle to follow bus route... no jam...
last time from bugis to SP, uncle scared take AYE... so go by depot road... turn here turn there... took 15mins longer than going by
bugis-->orchard--> holland road(old 106 bus route)
another method is get someone to throw redstone (next time going to sch is juz a stone throw away :bsmilie: )

Should I ask taxi driver to bypass Adam/Farrer Road thru Kheam Hock Road? There's cemeteries on both sides for first half stretch. Muahaha :devil: There lots of jam not enough roti.
