dang... Sigma got me really drooling at this.

Very ideal street cam. Only thing is that they didn't specify the ISO ratings.

Anyway, DA complaining his 100-400 slow right.. and he's looking for a 2.8 lens... this should be ideal for him.

 ... I aim at people.. i think people will run away. Carry through MRT gantries "excuse me sir, i need to check what is THAT" ...

I like DP-1 cuz, it's has the making of a digital leica type RF that's simple to use. The only thing I dun like is the f4 lens. :thumbsd: Since it's a "prime" it should be a "fast" lens.

Why can't they just use their 30mm f1.4 DC lens on that. I'll even pre-order it. ;p

*edit* looking at SD14 specs I see max native ISO800 and 1600 pushed. Assuming same specs, ISO800 @ F4 isn't much of an indoor cam or even overcast day cam.

Prime i guess you have to go with the GR-D ... GR-D is not without its downsides. Its noise is seriously "film like" as viewed by many.

Now if only the DP-1 was a cross of the 2. Foveon sensor, 2.8 aperture fixed prime lens.
