Yeah...!! I also into IR and my cam cannot do it properly.... i can guide you how to do it......

haiya....i short of one step....Custom my white balance...
but hor... someone use my foto..edit liao..no nid do cwb oso can de....juz didnt tell me how to do leh.... haiz....

i was testing again my IR this evening, short exposure dun hv the hot spots... but when i do too long exposure few weeks ago, it looks bad....

i would say the second one is pretty good.... but you have not done the CWB.

hotspots is pretty hard to spot if you have not set your WB. It will be more obvious after you set your WB.
