7th CanonGraphers Photoshoot Outing

To address some of the enquiries.

1) How to get there from Yishun MRT?
We will be taking a bus from Yishun Bus Interchange to the destination.

2) Why so early, 7am?
If we meet later, by the time we reach the place, it would be very late, maybe near 11 something, and it will be hotter & sweater.

3) Who can join?
CanonGraphers.

4) Any criteria to be a CanonGrapher?
Anyone who owns & uses a Canon camera, be it P&S or SLR or DLSR on that day.

I shall propose the 7th outing to be held at Khatib Bongsu.

What do you see there? It's a nature reserve where you can find species of birds, macro such as insects or flora/fauna, people/structure at the fishing house. It's a 2km trekking from the entrance, so be prepared to sweat a lot.

Even if you are not shooting, do join us for a nature walk where you can breathe in some fresh air and to get away from the city life for a short while.

Date : 4 Feb 2006
Time : 0700 hours
Meeting Place : Yishun MRT, station control
Things to bring : Bottle drink, camera gear, light tripod.

You can drive in all the way to the fishing place but you will miss out the shooting opportunities. Therefore, it is advisable that you park your car ouside. You can park somewhere near Lilydale Condo, junction of Yishun Ave 6 and 11. For ease of locating the place, look out for blk 409 if you are coming from Ave 11 and blk 405 if you are coming from Ave 6.

anyway I don't have long lens. will be mainly looking for macro subjects especially small flowers. anyone else with the same interest?

also anyone interested in how the wireless flash works? I'll be bringing my ST-E2.
