Portraits at Shwezigon.

Young lad

I suspect this is SK1968's Burmese daughter

Reading monk

Disappointed monks return to the monastery - they were the subjects of the staged shoot but we were more interested elsewhere
GOREGOUS scene, acpical. I love it!:thumbsup:

why would i wish ? hmm. i mean the lady doesn't look like mrs reservoir88 lei...always thought she has a sharper chin...perhaps i didn't look from this angle lah...haha...let's let mr reservoir88 confirm...haha

Dorothy confirms that it is her altho I agree that she does look different in this picture. Must be the fresh crisp cold air. She opened her mouth to take in so much cold air that it chilled her inards and had to go back to the room to avoid the cold after dinner. Sorry we could not join in your "sufferings" in the photo sharing.

WOW, BROTHERS! I must say, your artwork is unbelievable!!!!!
It is so fantastico! Beautiful photos.
You deserve a BEST PHOTOGRAPHER award.

Thank you serenexmm but actually i really like your seagull with the wings blurred (showing motion) and I think its better than mine for its unique.

haha, so i am not that co*k-eyed. ya, remember both of you retired earlier, so that was the reason.

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, this is photo reality hdr with 3 shots bracketed at +/- 2 stops.

Exposure mode, spot metering (to pick up the localised lighting) shutter speed at 1/125 due to lack of light at f2.8. Iso 1600. Ai servo mode with multiple shots with 45 points focus enabled and fire away but do not shut your eyes.:bsmilie:

Tks Cecil.

I think everyone was in either squat, sit, kneel or prone positions while taking the jumping cat...I could very well be the only person not within this 'firing squad' :) for reasons i already explained...sigh...but luckily i have 1 shot to share...a bit too noisy though ;p

to start the ball rolling...let the war between the MIW and MIB begins...

Wow you have the sharpest cat of all!

Wow you have the sharpest cat of all!

really ? tks. i shd think there are sharper ones cos i only had 2 shots while standing behind all of you and that was the last jumping cat...pure luck in that case :)

really nice, different color, different feeling :thumbsup:

tks FreeEasy. i can't say i have better eyes for things but i certainly see things differently from others, at times the weird way :)

Our SgTrekker's own Jumping cat trainer, chubby(cat)kei :)

to add on, SgTrekker can consider engaging this cat trainer next time, no need to depend on the mood of that lady....收工just after a few jumps. haha

A very rare catch, Melvin!
Fantastic shot!
Well done, ChubbyCat!

first one certainly looks familiar :) nice.

i gave up shooting after a few shots...too sad seeing their eyes in my viewfinder. turned to shoot my second 'daughter' instead :bsmilie::bsmilie:

It looks like everybody gets bonus out of this trip, some get father, bros, and SK1968 get s the most, daughters and sons, so a lot of wifes lining up as well :o:devil:
