It late now .. my mind is abit slow .. you did you mean by

Actually if I am not wrong, the D3s + 70-200mm VRII should be on the way soon liao :dunno::think:

I spoke to Don .. he laugh laugh only

Hmmm... have you never seen a man having two sets of wives?
Maybe... maybe only lah huh... but maybe.... one day I will hang a WHITE on my right R-strap and a BLACK on my left R-strap....
.... and another WHITE sticking from my middle.

wah lau..battle of the sea-gulls has begun....you all shoot such clear sea gulls, the eyes all so sharp de...i dun have 2x converter or full-frame camera...i am just using a DX camera..

Like this  Another view of seagulls

The thing about birding .. Doc.. sadly is many more things .. of the few that I know is .. exposure of the feature .. yours and mine all burn .. the birders see liao all laughing like siao

Another is the feather details .. our not much .. or nearly don't have

So a powerful prime zoom lens is critical for this type of photography .. but since ours is for Fun and Laugher .. I guess it is barely ok lah

Another ..

SWEE YAH!
Sigh... yupe I noticed mine ALL burn until chao dar already.
But you're right - just for fun, it was quite a highlight of the Inle Lake trip, I must say.

Wah, reservoir88, thank you for your affirmation!
I am happy you think my seagull eyes can make it.
But honestly, this is my first time shooting birds and I am totally newbie in that.
Kam Sia! Kam Sia!
Where are your Seagull eyes, reservoir88? Lai leh Lai leh...

Have no seagull eyes to show lah. Only small seagulls flying. I was left with the UWA most of the trip. The quality of the Panasonic FZ100 images was far from satisfactory. But am enjoying all the seagull shots posted.

SK1968, this one is really a powerful powerful shot.
The high speed capture with the droplets flying all over and the ox's expression.
It is truly magnificent.

Is that why it's called 打鱼 in chinese? Anyone knows?

Gapman, the sharpness of the lens and the way the picture jumps out with a 3D effect onto the viewer...
I think this is nothing lesser than sheer anticipation of that particular scene.
Great job, brother!

You guys battle it out.

Here's the Intha fishermen

Divinemoment, what mood! What atmosphere!
The mist that rises from the surface of the waters of Inle, and the sunset behind the rower.
All captured for posterity. You are the man, Divinemoment!

Wah, tazzie21! Your seagull shots are lovely.
I dont' have enough space here to quote all your shots but just wanted to say that you are modest.
What just using a DX body lah...? With your lens your reach is 1.5x that of our other friends' bodies yah!
Good shots, brother!

Very Nice, SereneXMM

SWEE ah !! :thumbsup::heart:

XMM, your seagull shots very SWEE!

Don't say I say this because you are my Dar.
But this one is really a very very nice shot.
One seagull look to the left side holding her wings up, the other one looking on the right side wings folded.
And some more it is totally un-cropped.
I don't know how you shot this shot but it is truly lovely.

You have another very fantastic shot that you want to show every one right?
Hey guys, are you all ready?

Agreed. Good timing
Wow...thank you ALL for your generous compliments.
It was very encouraging.:heart::embrass:

Travelling on the boat is almost taken out from the James Bond movie with speed as fast as the horse power can carry.

Well, later when the sun set across Inle Lake at around 5:30pm, the whole place was basked in Golden Light.
It was a magical scene, one which I have never seen before in my whole life.
I am no where as lucky as this seagull whom, I am certain, has seen this every living evening of its life.

Wah... you must have been travelling at very high speed, Divinemoment!
Like James Bond on Inle Lake like that!
Good panning shot, Divinemoment, good panning shot!
