Here's my shots and brief introduction on the traditional leg-rowers displayed by the Intha. The lake dwellers are one-legged rowers.
They are well-known for it. They are called as "Intha" meaning people of the lake.
The lake is full of floating vegetations and houses. There are about 18 villages around the lake.
They are Buddhist and about a hundred Buddhist monasteries can be found. A lot small pagodas can be found too!

Our good Scotsman was really in love with the Inle Resort.

The rooms were nice and huge (as shown in the photo by our good Gapman).
But we were whisked off to lunch in no time by Melvin.
Here every one was excited because we were finally on the Inle and on the Slow boat (Fast boat) and we were able to shoot pictures of Inle Lake.
But the bonus was a big surprise. We encountered lots and lots of seagulls (er... Lakegulls)!

By the time we arrived at our lunch spot, don't know how many Lakegulls have been shot dead already.

One of the best lunch I have every had in my life.
The food was aplenty and I ate a lot.
In fact I think I walloped every body's portion - Gapman lah, tazzie21 lah, Kernik lah, LowLights lah... everyone's food all I eaten up.
But the food funny had no taste at all...

LowLights was very kind. He said to me:
"Brother, it's all a matter of technique. You never shot birds before, right? Let me teach you - you got to wait for them to come very close to you and fire away. If they are too far away, you will never make it one... Understand?"
Understood.
Cecil was very kind. He said to me:
"limwhow, I lend you my Canon 2.0x TC. You got to have the AI Servo constantly tracking the seagulls. Make sure you active 'All AF points' instead of single AF points so that the AF tracking is working for you. Understand?"
Understood.
Thus, with these good advice, our Battle of the Seagull begun.

But, not now yet.
Later tonight.
Because I haven't PP-ed my seagull shots yet.
But everyone - just hum tum your shots of whatever also can - seagull or not seagull also can.
come come, lai lah!
Mya Mya La!

Thanks for having me around. I am planning to go for the Hanoi trip in May, already thinking aout what lens to bring.

I like these pictures.

Thank you JadeIceGreen, if you are going to Hanoi make sure you stay overnight on the boat in Halong Bay I think its worth it. I went Hanoi and Sapa twice.
