where is the banding? Is it diagonal or horzontal or vertical banding?

I think I see some faint horizontal banding at bottom right corner after I adjusted the levels to boost up the contrast.

but seriously, it is nothing to worry about as I find it pretty acceptable. I think all my other DSLRs may have such problems anyway.

I would not be complaining if the banding is very minor as yours, Wind30. It's just there but hardly noticeable.

Uncle Tom, I saw another L1's with the banding only think is it's lines are very much closer together and if you resize it, they disappear altogether. Yours do not show any noticeable banding.

It's faint horizontal banding as you've pointed out.

I agree with you, wind30. The E-330's not perfect in this respect but I'm enjoying it as it is. The current levels of banding I get do not bother me, compared to that from my old body. But I feel it's pretty shabby when there are users with the bad cases of banding and they are just ignored. I was once one of them too.

ya lar agreed. Your diagonal banding pic is pretty bad and I saw it straight away.

funny that it is diagonal banding, not horizontal/veritical....
