Thanks for sharing this. I cant imagine you used some sort of jib for the crane shot. Did you grade the footage? did you have any problems interchanging the footages during post between the cameras in terms of picture 'tone'?..did the HMC152 hold up well?

Its a Kressler crane. Solid build . My advice is to purchase another heavy duty tripod.

Gramma curve is different for the dslr as compare to camcorder but dslr hold on much better in low light condition. ( Prime lens will be good for this purpose )
For dance and fast motion camera work, i will strongly recommend the hmc 152. ( 720 50p is better for this purpose )
Color grading are done in fcp and magic bullet look.

Sometimes, we got to learn how to have fun with our gear.

The color are done with FCP and magic bullet.
There have some preset that you can purchase to create a certain look .
For what we do, is to edit with the normal preset and we edit some of the setting on the dslr as well.

We only use scandisk . Trust me. you can't go wrong with it.
its cost more but i believe your work are worth more than the value of the card.
