So Canon's wireless flash system doesn't allow you to use manual flash power? :dunno:

Maybe it's a personally preferences but I normally do full manual (except AF).

I am still fiddling with the Canon wireless in Full Auto and still coming to terms and understanding of how to use the wireless effectively..... so I am not yet advance to do mannual, and need a lot of time to tune and tune the set up.... as I try moving the set up around a bit..... exploring it.....

Hope have chance to learn from you in future....

I realised the importance to blasting a power up for the shot, and 580II advantage with more juice is important.... compared to my 430.... and at least, 430 can tune and push up a bit... while a 420 can only.... flash.... no manual control...
