Thats because the trains don't ride so frequent as usual, they will wait till there is a crowd to enter the trains.....to make it more 'efficient'.i wonder how am i going to squeeze into those sardine cans called MRT.. ?
dun u feel it ? that trains are now getting packed often ?
I remember a few years ago, the trains will arrive withing 3-4 min, now it is more like 5-7 min.

I totally concur with you.
I'm also very sure there are work for every level of intelligence.
No wonder our grannies and grandpas are coming out to work, stepping and collecting metal cans and selling tissue papers.
StrangLee, I don't see such a familiar scene back in the 80s or early 90s or rather, such a large number of them.
I must be suffering from dementia.
Just like today, i noticed this old woman sitting in the middle of the Bugis pedestrian crossing (the area where you need to cross over bugis junction and bugis alley).
She must be heeding our MM's advice, work till the age of 83.
I guess she must be bored too, if not, she won't be sitting all night long.
She also heed one of our MP's advice, "do not whine."
Which explains she is struggling to pick herself up to earn some decent money despite her walking difficulties.

Lastly, she must be a faithful citizen for listening to our SM "Let's Move On", knowing that not everyone can be CEO.....afterall, who doesn't wants to be a CEO like Durai or the Youth Challenge?
See, that explains why i always have 101% trust in our elite leaders.
For our citizens have:
No Questions asked,
No Doubts at all,
No Sense of Crisis.
No wonder, they will keep having a full mandate elections after elections.

Actually in the beginning I dun have much to say about how our garment runs our country but recently I just cant help it to comments on the ways and ideas that pop out from them. I dun feel good I dun feel comfortable and I dun feel proud either as a Singaporean now. Just take a look around you, in a group of 10 people about 30% of them are foreigners on the street, in the work place ..kopitiam ..etc ..
I feel that our garment just care about how to earn $$$ in Singapore ..how to always stay ahead in the economy ..who is going to work for them is not important as long as he or she contributes well in terms of $$$ to the country.
Commoners like me will be left out sooner or later .working as a normal worker for so many years, .NS, reservist ..and by the time I get old and useless Ill be left at one dark corners. Sometimes it is very sad to see Singaporeans just follow .
And I guess they also dun really have much choices.
If there is an option for me to choose ..definitely this is not a place Ill like to stay, work and get old ..but now, what to do???
that's why many pro/elite has plan or already plan to move to elsewhere....

At this moment, how many "original" Singaporeans?? Very few descendents from those original fishing villages I suspect. Aren't most Singaporeans descendents of FTs that came here to find a better quality of life some years ago? FTs have been instrumental in Singapore's prosperity for hundreds of years and I guess it will be no different in the future.
