Don't worry. I do not have any intention to sell it at all. It is good enough for me for the next 10 years. I don't need the bells and whistles. I mean if using a DSLR gets any easier, then it would be called a PnS. I think at the end of 10 years, my 5DMkII will look like a brick.

I wonder what is the logic doing a price drop before the launch of 1DsMkIV and 60D, and shortly after the release of 1DMkIV? Are they just hoping the new firmware plus the price drop will create a wave of sales. But surely it will hurt the sales of those wanting to upgrade to 1DMkIV, 1DsMkIV or 60D and even those sitting on the fence of 7D. Or they are trying to just skim the market with camera bodies to push the sale of lenses. People did not see the need to move up to 100L and the 70-200L. Are they hoping the mass adoption of FF bodies will inject take up rate of these lenses? Afterall, there is the rumoured 24-70 IS and 14-24 to follow. Or they are just trying to clear off old inventories to pay for the overheads.
