Self collect and return: King Albert Park MacDonalds or Jurong East MRT station on weekdays (for other arrangements, feel free to bring up for discussion and I will try to accommodate). Weekends would be at King Albert Park MacDonalds or Bukit Timah Plaza KFC (basement 1 inside NTUC) as I stay around the area.
Verification: First time users are to provide a photocopy of NRIC and bring the original for verification. Students* and Full Time NSFs are to bring Student Pass / Bus Pass / SAF Smart Card etc for verification
Loan Period: 24 hours loan period, no part thereof. Earlier collections (previous evening) and late returns (next morning) are subjected to availability
Rental: Rental is collected in advance

our (my partner and I) philosophy here is that we want to trust the users of the equipment. Users are to sign a form agreeing to rent and provide a photocopy of IC for verification (hence you cannot collect on behalf of someone else).
If the person chooses to go into hiding after that and all attempts to contact him/her becomes impossible, a police report would be lodged and we let the police handle it from then onwards as a matter of theft. Of course, this is a last resort.
We are pleased to note that by and large, CS'ers are pretty responsible. Thus, we do not need to take such measures.
We have supported worthy causes previously, even to the extend of charging norminal rates so that someone can start doing wedding photography professionally. So, we discourage anyone from trying to make off with our equipment to start his own business. So long as the guy is willing to work for a living, we can work something out. Getting a tainted record is simply not worth it ... Once the report to the police has been made, the matter is out of our hands.
