Hey, I will buy one from you for that price, can you bring :)

$2700.. I want a spare backup body too :bsmilie:

12-24 isn't it too wide for FF? Haven't tried b4.. but I guess vignetting will be bad at this range

I read somewhere there is NO vignetting at 12mm. This is a full frame lens, so it makes sense I guess. It's quite a unique lens, but I have heard some bad reports on this, will just have to test and see for myself. But personally speaking, I am buying a 5D for the ultra wides and no way can i NoT check this lens out ;)

The most I can provide the address if I can find it...as I have reserve 1 set for my friend liao...not convenience to bring back so many sets somemore Canon Sg don't recognise DSLR from oversea...mean no warranty.

I understand bro, thanks. But are you sure about the price? if it is SGD 2700 in Japan, then the HK price also should be somewhere closer? sure would appreciate if someone can tell me what the best price I can get the 5D in HK.

I am finding out that 95% of all my photography is all landscape and birds! So keeping a 20D for the birds and getting a 5D for the landscape.

What is the biggest difference you notcied when you switched from a crop factor body to FF, was it that you could get wider shots, or better quality?

If I DO get the 5D, I am thinking of buying a Sigma 12-24 AND a Canon 17-40. And nothing else, I already have a 70-200f2.8. Do these lenses 12-24 and 17-40 compliment each other or overkill?

Cheers:)

Do check if the 12-24 lenses can fit a FF camera. My understanding is that some of these lenses are built for APS-C.

Yes I know...Toyko's living standard is expensive like Orchard area...earn big buck from tourist while at Osaka is cheap like old town AMK area...:) but I may be wrong...

The Sigma 12-24 is an excellent WA lens, fully usable on FF, and it really resolves well (provided you get a good copy).

5D is selling about HKD18000 in HK.. so it is close to SGD3600 base on average conversion rate. Wing Sing allows Credit card payment and no extra charge... but do note that credit card rate maybe around 4.9x compares to local money changer 5.05. Do your maths ;)

yo, upgraded your cam ah.. song man.. hee =D

yeap!!! solid camera. 24-105 is so usable now. I cover church events, company events with just 1 lens :thumbsup:

If you are referring to Canon original lenses, EF works for all full frame and EF-S is for APS-C. So simple and straightforward. If Sigma or Tamron, they have other labelling system. (DC or Di ???)
