but i gotta admit, the 5D is one heck of a camera. although a bit pricey, it's the closest to full frame without the added weight of the 1Ds. I just don't like the AF as compared to the 1D2 - but others will have other opinions on this

5D's AF is alittle sluggish but not that bad lah

This part not true lah, the first time I used my 5D in Hyatt's ballroom(very very dark), there's only candle light and the stage light and very small spot lights. I can spot on the wedding couple march-in(flash used-f5.6, ISO 800), no hunting at all. Also some candid shot while people are mingling in the ballroom(no flash-f4, ISO3200 used). No problem at all.

actually i use mostly a 1D Mark II. The 5D was only acquired recently. I use that mainly when I move around/travel cos it's a lot lighter.
