1) How nice are the Crumpler bags vs. the official 5XX Canon bags? any pluses / minuses?
2) Is this promo at the IT show only? Or will all official Canon retailers be offering the same package?
3) Once this promo period is over (the website lists from 11-14 March), generally speaking, will packages / freebies get better or worse?

i asked before, if u have the budget, can consider getting the tamron now. otherwise, stick with the lens kit. images with tamron will be better & nicer

btw, is the PWP offer of 55-250 lens at $459 worth it? doesnt seem like it right since i checked price list and AP selling it for $385 as at Feb 2010.

It's 18-55,not 17-55.Of course tammy is better lah....more ex.

thx, i didnt get it in the end but i saw another guy buying it :what:

anyway the crumpler bag they are giving out has CANON stitched in the front flap of the bag and EOS stitched onto the shoulder strap. nice but the stitching totally spoils it.

they just gave me everything, including the bag at the freebies counter. just ask for it if you dont see it.

The prices are as follow;

$1350 for 18-55 kit (RPP $1449, savings of $149)
$1680 for 18-135 kit (RPP $1799, savings of $119)
$1160 for the body only (RPP $1249, savings of $89)
