aibt off topic,
normally when you guys shoot, do you all put on filters? Will the filter degrade any quality
Most of the time yes, if you don't pixelpeep, probably you won't notice, but some how the quality will degrade a bit when another layer of filter/glass been put in front of the lens. It also depend on the quality of the filter also.

I prefer the 50mm f1.4 for better contrast and slightly better bokeh. To some people it may only be slightly better than a 50mm f1.7 but the more you use it, the more you gain over the f1.7.

Erm... Dunno if anyone's interested... But i may be getting some Minolta 50mm F1.7 and 1-2 F1.4 lenses in very very soon (1-2 weeks?). I'll send them out to the KMOS user list before posting them in the marketplace. :)

Another observation btw these 2 lenses.. f1.4 and f1.7, the AF on f1.7 seem to be faster..
Just wonder if KM5D has difficulty to drive the RS version lens as compare to the older 1st generation lens.

Thanks bros/ sis-es out there for the information.
At least I got price idea before I placed my order.:) :) :) :) :)
