i got mine at $160, but that was a year ago, at CP.

i think that every photog should own a 50mm. it's cheap and good, and i think you'll use it more often than you think if you shoot at that range frequently. ;)

Hi itsybitsyspidy,

I plan to get one, but I has read one of the thread from a Cser saying this lens can't be meter by D70 & D50 is it true? Cos I'm using D50 now.

Hi guys I would like to know whether 50mm 1.8 is better than the 18-70mm kit lens? This prime lens cost how much and I would like to know the stock availability (heard that it is out of stock)..;) Thanks
would be a useful addition to anyone`s range. small and light.

Actually, it's supposed to be a one of those must own ones. Too good and useful for one to do without. ;)

Up to you on how you wanna use it. But it's small, light and cheap, so why pass it up?

Both actually, you can use it for general purpose, multi purpose, portrait, landscape, group, macro (with BR-2A, PM sykestang for more information) and more.

It's light versatile and easy to bring about. Why not own one today? BUY BUY BUY!!!!

thanks, heard it's out of stock... go where and find?
