50mm 1.8/1.4f shooting macro on D70

Anyone use the 50mm 1.8F/1.4F shooting macro ? Any samples to see ?

i think IF you didn't add on any close up filter or reversed the 50mm,

you 'll need to crop the pic, so, it will looks like a macro.

I have heard of this reverse ring thing before. But i m not too sure about it. Can anyone enlighten me on this topic?

reversing ring. BR2 or BR5 (step down 62 -> 55)
so, you can mount your 50mm directly to the camera with BR2, and the lense will be mounted in reversed position...(BR2)

for BR5, you can mount ur normal lense which thread diameter is 62 with another 50mm, face to face, and the ratio will be (main lense's focal length / reversed mounted lense). e.g 300mm/50mm :6 . so, it will be 6:1 life size.

My take... a coke can drink opening. Picture taken with a AF50mm f/1.4D with BR2a reverse ring and BR3 mounted with Nikon 4T close-up filter. Note: This picture is a full sized picture taken with a 6MP D100 and is not cropped in any other means.
