Has anyone use a AF 50mm f/3.5 Macro? It is suppose to have a magnification ratio f up to 2:1.

Yes, macro lens can go up to 3:1 - minolta has its own 3x-1x macro lens remember.

I said "The Macro Lens.... " I am talking about the 50mm f/3.5 Macro Lens smtan24 said .... not "A Macro Lens ....." where I generalise all Macro Lenses .

i dunno about MD 50mm is 1:1 or 1:2 but i know that with the attachment, it can go beyond 1:1 or 1:2, slightly... hehe...

Yups, printing mistake. Its 1:2. The 50/2.8 is a 1:1. Photodo.com rates both as a 4.5.
