oh, i have not tried the auto ISO yet.

anyway was spending a day indoor today and experimented with the ISO. playing around between 400-800 depending on which direction the light is coming from

guess i have to practice more.

by the way, is there a way to delete photos by date? i only see deletion by folders and by selecting individuals.

i am currently using the tripod which i bought for my PnS long ago... not very stable due to the difference in the camera weight.

intending to buy new tripod too, but not sure which to get... i am looking at Benro in the MassSales section.
Package 3 -- Tripod A300EX + ballhead BH-0 + padded tripod bag -- S$158
Package 4 -- Tripod A350EX + ballhead BH-0 + padded tripod bag -- S$168

this two package can support 4kg, and weighs 1.05kg...:think:
probably some experienced users can help? :dunno:

That day i was at the shop opposit John 316, the guy introduce one made in China around $80+ for ball head but I not too sure so didnt get it in the end.

I'm a Nikon D80 user, but I've got a Benro set-up and I thought I'd share my opinions.
There is a large selection of Benro tripods at Benphoto, in Peninsula Shopping Center. This is not Peninsula Plaza (where Cathay Photo has big outlet), but rather across the road, next to Excelsior Hotel. The shop is on the ground floor.

Try to weigh your camera (complete) with the heaviest lens you own.
Get a ballhead + tripod combo that can comfortably accommodate that weight (ie factor in another 30% weight allowance). Think about the max extended height, and also the folded length (ease of carrying)

Some people claim Benro tripods have questionable build quality. I've had no problems with mine, though I haven't really stressed it with excessive weight, since I don't have a really heavy set-up.
