Hi guys...I am looking to upgrade to a DSLR. I am researching on the 50D but I am quite uncertain about the noise levels. Currently I am a Panasonic LZ10 user, and I believe most of you know that the Noise problem in the Lumix series is quite bad. I read up the reviews on dpreview, the Noise levels at ISO1600 and ISO3200 seems not as good?
I need it to shoot Sleague matches. Thats why I am concerned with the Noise levels as I will be shooting at night. Can any experts here give me some advice? Thanks! =)

Normally night shot low ISO setting but increase the exposure and supported with my tripod. If you want to have a better result using a tripod is still a must....

Hi, I am shooting Sleague. I need to shoot with high ISO, fast shutter and exposure to capture the action. While I am confident of Canon DSLRs, I am unsure of the noise. Need not be brilliant, just need the details to be there at ISO1600..
