503cw shutter button jammed.

Need some help here.

My shutter bottom is jammed but when i remove the the film casette at the back i can release the shutter button.

Hope to get some advice here.

Film magazine slide inserted? Or maybe remove the lens and recock the shutter at the rear slot to remount. Not too sure of any other mechanical possible reason.

It should work with the film magazine on. But I had to remove it in order to press the shutter button. The film slide was not in.

With the film slide removed from the magazine mounted, I am not aware of any other mechanical linkage with the leaf shutter on your CFE lens and the film magazine to disable tripping the shutter. Maybe try the mirror in lockup position to see if that can work. Or try out with a different spare magazine. Unlikely the film insert should be the cause. It seems there's also no apparent defect on the lens itself from the descriptive nature of the problem.
