503CW discontinued!

Wah!!!! Liddat dunno when they will discountinue permanently the CFV backs!!!!!!

Sianz....no change to own any liao...

If Cathay has a clearance sale of CFV-50 at SGD$500 (down from US$16,000) that would be nice.

Wait. Since Hasselblad ends the line, it can now allow third party to make the CFV-50 without IP problems, at a fraction of the cost.
PRC company can make and sell much cheaper under their own brand e.g. Double-Happiness-brand.

Somehow, I get a feeling that the new Fuji-Hassel digital models are not exactly breaking sales records.
The closure of V system was to steer consumers towards the Fuji-Hassel digital models?
As 35mm DSLR like Nikon D800 reach the 36 MP mark, it is hard to justify cost of the Fuji-Hassel digital models.

But Mamiya dropped the manual focus series years and years ago.. so cuddos to Hassy for lasting it out for so long with the V system, in a highly digital / time "shoot-delivery" shrank time world.. Sad to see it go as well. On the other hand, you can always grab a V-series lens and adapt it to both Mamiya and Hassy-H and shoot with it.. that can't be bad.. You can also have a V-series body lying around, for film shooting and you are good to go..
