Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone would be interested in paying a small fee for the service of removing a 4gb MicroDrive from the muvo player. Like $30? (For those non-techies that wish to benefit from this)

I was thinking of a MO and to get a better price and then provide the removal and CF replacement service for a small fee.

So for $30 more, you get a confirmed working 4gb MD and a Muvo player with your CF. (CF replacement functionality depends on compatibility. Of the 90% I worked with, they were all working.)

My service will include purchasing a Muvo with a CONFIRMED MD, removal of the 4Gb MD, replacement of CF and delivery.

The current price for the muvo2 is $479. So for around $500 (tentatively) (This price may change because the price for the muvo will be increased) you get a set with no trouble.

I believe that ~$500 for a CONFIRMED 4gb MD and a MP3 player is very worth the money.

PM me if you are interested. :D

I wouldn't mind doing it if there's a big group going for it? Remind me if there's a MO going on for it. Thanks.

Hi ..how's that, compare, just to do a MO purchase of the 4GB CF Microdrive alone?

if the response is good then i'll go check out the price. But tentatively the range is around $470++.

Maybe ought to start a list and see how things go?

Or anyone out there got lobang for cheaper rate? else i'll pop by sim lim and bargain my breath out next week. :D

it would be helpful if anyone using muvo2 sharing with us, what compact flash they use.
I suspect it only supports CFII/microdrive which some of us don't have...

is the mass order still on?

no masses how to order? kekeke...... :bsmilie:

How to take out 4GB MD

Just follow the steps and DIY. BTW, you can get the muvo2 4GB for S$430.

oh where where? I'm trying to soruce for the cheapest, so it'll be good that you can provide some details.

Muvo2 4GB is selling for $429 at Royale Computer, #05-03, Funan Centre.

Can the replacement be a solid state CF1?
