any engineering or physics expert?

assuming the wind pressure blowing into openings are the same. Large opening = slow wind speed? how come ar? i tot bigger window more airy? i reading some notes...small window, wind that blows in got higher velocity.

and don't need to factor in heat...

hahaha...wah physics ques lel..lol...u go take a hose...u turn on the water...then u try making the hose hole smaller...the water will b rushing out at higher velocity...as the same volume of water has to get out of the hose with a smaller hole...thus higher pressure in the hose...hehe...hopefully i nv giv salar info...:rolleyes: :bsmilie:

since pressure is the same, speed become variable. so if the opening is small, the pressure Y of the air applied onto the opening, the air escape from the hole will be traveling at speed X.

if the opening become big, the small pressure Y of air applied onto the opening, the speed will decrease since bigger window allow more air to escape from the hole, with the same pressure, speed will drop. Logic... :bsmilie:

sounds right ;p

pressure = force / area

since the force of water is constant, pressure will vary inversely to area (opening of pipe). so if the pipe size is big, pressure is lower. and if pipe size is small, pressure is higher.
