Its the same. Local 450D sets are made in japan too. The kissx2 and rebel xsi is just a marketing strategy.

Different names for different markets.
EU and Asia = 450D
NA = Rebel XSi
Japan = Kiss X2

wah 53 dollars for a bag. expensive!

lowepro bags here cost 20-40$ lor. i using my 14$ high sierra waist pouch to hold my camera with a tamron 17-50 and a blower with lots of space left. not to mention its versatile and can hold many other things as well.

There are 2 big camera shop /building to look for, Yodobashi or Bic Camera. these two shop located at mainly tokyo shinjuku,akihabara,ikeburuku.
Other area also have ,but these few station got the most you can compare prices.Have fun shopping.

I got my 450D bundle from bargaincity two weeks ago for $1499 , a pretty good deal i think. i'm already thinking of getting another lens cos the kit lens just doesn't cut it indoors if it's not well-lit, maye the 50mm 1.8....

Canon do not produce their DSLRs outside of Japan as far as I know....Well, I could be wrong..:dunno:
