450D, when will the release date be?

Any pple who owns a Crumpler bag (1 or 2 Million Dollar home)? Do you know if it can fits a EOS 450D with only 1 lens?

i think the 5 million dollar crumpler will be the right size for body, 2 lens and a speed lite.

Just called MS Color today. The Canon 450D with 18-55mm lens kit is out of stock.
They are offering at $1380 include GST. If u ask through e-quotation through their website you will get a better price of slightly lesser than $1380

Also, your 17-50 is not an IS lens, unless it's the very much more expensive EF-S 17-55 IS USM.

i called bargain city just now and the dry cabinet is the Digi Cab 30L and tripod is Digi Pod SL1400
i roughly calculated the total and it's cheaper than if i buy all the stuff from MS color.
am i right to say this?

I bought from Parisilk the moment they got their stock last friday lunch time. Body only - $1068 before GST. Comes with 4GB card and all usual useless stuff like the magazines and booklets. I then got a 24-105mm L lens from the friendly, neighbourhood, clubsnap lens guy.

So far very happy with the combination. Only one thing so far I wish for that it does not have is ISO 3200. Also wondering why auto ISO feature never selects 1600 even in dim light.

ISO 3200 is not real on the 40D anyway.

Bump exposure compensation to -1 eV. Then, add it back in RAW processing. That gives you ISO 3200.

Auto ISO has limited functionality on Canon DSLRs. They have still not figured out how to implement this basic feature. :bsmilie:

Looks like its a very good deal buying from bargaincity. The best offer I observed so far in this thread is JOhn 3:16 which is 1340 with 8G SD card in all (correct me if i am wrong). But for 150 more, you get dry cabinet, tripod, extra battery, and card reader. Wow.

But I am also kinda worried about the credibility of delivery, whether there will be dead pixels and things like that.. guess for such a good bargain, have to incur some risk.
