Yes, Just got it tonight at Yodobashi camera.
The kit 2 is selling like hot cake..!!! is out of stock now.
In Japan they selling in Kit 1 or Kit 2, with the purchase of Kit 2 canon is giving a free gift.

Thanks for your reply. I went down and got myself a 450D. I tried both 400D and 450D. As I have not used a SLR before, maybe the difference is not great to me. In the end, I chose 450D at $1,340 for KIT I.
haha. forget abt the guide book. its quite useless. practise the basic functions and start shooting already. got the sd card already right?

Impressive stuff. I take my hats off to Canon for their ability to pull off such a performance.
I understand that Canon is having a hard time trying to meet over-whelming market demands for the XSi. This is particularly true in Japan where reviewers are raving about the image quality of the XSi.

I got mine at MS Color... I like the big screen and the grip...If I am not wrong (cos I am still green in using SLR), the 17-50mm comes with the image stabiliser.
