Usually most of the time the problem can be resolved via a simple firmware update. If there is any serious bugs most forums would have people talking about it liao. Places like drpeview.com etc. So best to do your homework online first before whacking.

Managed to get my hands on it. Better feel than the 400D and with the LIVE view. Different battery and is on SD. Stocks are available at T.K. I saw a long reservation list.

Hi, please take note that the official freebie that is supposed to come with the 450D is a 4GB SD card, not a 2GB.

Thanks for your reply. I went down and got myself a 450D. I tried both 400D and 450D. As I have not used a SLR before, maybe the difference is not great to me. In the end, I chose 450D at $1,340 for KIT I. Cant wait to try taking shots...tomorrow shall go get the freebies and guide book to start on my photo shots.
