thanks all for the lovely comments. I have bought my 550D at SLRR. $1276 for the Kit 1 lens package plus a $121 for 50mm f1.8 (made in Malaysia though).

LOL..you got exactly the same item as me..except i bought an extra batt at $75..

but seems like the extra batt is extra as well..until now that first battery also have not drain off..my new batt still brand new inside the package..

that's becos you didnt shoot enough, if you go travel, 2 batts is safer...and proven...
