One thing I really like about this series of photos posted are they are so natural.
Not so much focus on composition, technical perfection, but very true real life photos.
Thanks for sharing bro.

great moment capture:thumbsup:

thank you :)

yup.. its really tough to get all the technicalities right in street shooting, because all the time you have is just the few moments when you observe, and then you have to press the shutter already if not you'll miss the shot. but nonetheless, the really great street shooters seem to be able to get the technicalities right very often. i aim to depict life in its truest form, still not quite there yet, but i'll get there.. slowly but surely i hope.

on a lovely friday afternoon

i guess this picture could sum up the life in Sydney, relaxed and laidback. the city is generally such a beautiful and relaxing place to be in, 99% of the people would smile back at you and ask how was your day.

i don't know where they got their excellent manners from but i really wish i had came over for my education much much earlier, so i could be exposed to such a stress-free environment and culture at a younger age. i guess if it were so, my philosophy in life would have been very much different than what it is now.

Caught him digging his ear while waiting to cross the street. Boy was he embarassed!

You've got nice shots there. I like your street photographs, really feels like I am close to the subjects. You are right, its not easy to capture the moment AND get the technicalities right at the same time. Sometimes when I see the moment, and when I bring the camera up to my eye, the moment is over. I want to try training myself to shoot from the hip. Its tough, and so far, I've had a lot more misses than hits. Either aim too high, or too low. I think that by training myself that way, I can see with my eyes and still capture the moment more easily. Gonna take a long time before I master it.
By the way, what lenses do you use for your street photography?
