40D User Group

Live view will be useful when comes with swivel LCD like those compact cameras (like my Canon S1 IS).

it really helps when taking shots from difficult angle, e.g. when shooting macro to object on the ground from the side or bottom up and we need to put the camera near to the ground, here live view swivel will come into play together.

So far onli speculation all over the net leh.

I sort of made a complain to Canon and they responded with "Do be patient with Canon, and wait for the launch of the 5D's successor. Estimated launch date is first quater 2008."

i most prob wont use the liveview as well
the 3inch lcd is prob nice for reviewing pics though:think:

The LCD screen is still 230000 pixel, be it 1.8" 2" 2.5" or 3". Very disappointing! There are already 1MP LCD, why they don't use it?:dunno:

Yes, comes with the standard freebies as on adverts. DVD-R discs, Lens book, 2GB CF card. MS haven't received their freebies, so will have to make another trip down (thankfully not too far) to collect them. :dunno:

At this rate, by the time D300 rolls out, more than half the potential market is taken by the 40D...
