Hey buddy i think it's not difficult to choose between these 2. If u have big palms go for the 40D if not 450D will be small, handy & easy to carry ard. :bsmilie:

Bargaincity had reflected the pricecut to S$1,789 for Canon EOS 40D kit (18-55mm IS). thats about $250 cheaper than last week at ~$2050. expect the other major shops to sell at around $1750 for the 40D kit I.

went to Courts Tampines this afternoon, play around with 400D, 450D and 40D. the only thing holding back is the steep ~$700 price of 40D and its weight. but now with just ~$400 different, the choice is clear.

Alan Photo quote $1650 before GST--$1765.50 incl GST, MS Color quote $1799 with GST.

I thought MS Color was usually cheaper? since they reside in neighborhood centre, rental fee should be much cheaper than SLS and Funan or Peninsular.

Maybe they are a smaller company so the quantity of stock they take in dun allow them to sell at low price.

I bought my !st DSLR canon 40D last saturday (5th of Apr) then yesterday the price dropped and i was so angry... juz 3 days the price diff by $300. so i dropped a mail to them.

Sometimes the shop will give extra stuff as promo.
