I am using 40D, Sigma 18-200, canon 17-85 IS USM, canon 50mm f1.8

ps: using iphone to take.

I am thinking whether to upgrade to 50D or 7D..

wow, sigma lens now come with red ring also....probably i too slow...

pls allowed me to resign, just sold the 40D, as it left abit of warranty, switch camp to 50D, as havent make enough to buy 7D or 5D yet...

Still keeping my wonderful 40D though I recently bought the 5DMk2 due to price drop. The 40D is a great one and have been with me on many trips. I now used it predominantly for Sports and Nature....:thumbsup:

hi all, i got question.. do you all set adjust the setting on the picture style? if yes, whats the best setting(eg, sharpness, contrast, saturation.......) for portrait and landscape.. if using manual, does this picture style helps? more questions will be coming up... thanks

you're in the wrong thread... read your manual first.

i got my 5D2 after my 40D. Comparing the 2 bodies, my eye tells me that the 40D does have a wider DR compared to 5D2 and somehow the metering feels more consistant. It's a classic.

No money to upgrade, 7D is too expensive, 50D has no movie mode. :sweatsm:

wah quite a number..

care to share why u wouldn't upgrade to a better cam when there are so many enticing features on each one?

like 5DMKII.. no need say, this one is the legendary FF..

or for more hobbyist kind.. the 7D.. superb AF system.. dual digic 4..

or even the 1D series.. or the DSLRs with video.

why still stick with the 40D?

for me, i feel attached to the camera.. and it's enough for my needs for now..

anyone, any views?
