For all the 400D users, I shall be organising a DPP workshop, followed by an outing in 3rd or 4th weeks of Oct. Stay tune. :)

That would be great bro! . . . keep us posted! . . . tks! :)

Shoot! I'm away in Malaysia this w/end. Would've loved to join you guys. Happy snapping and show us the work product :) Enjoy!

Technospaz, thanks for your feedback, you r inculcating good values. Do have a great trip and snap snap snap and share ur takes k Bon voyage

I will be organising a DPP + Basic Photography Course for the 400D newbies. I am glad to get someone to conduct the basic photograhy course. Special thanks to him for sacrificing his valuable time for a good cause.

As far as the cost is concerned, my philosophy is to do it for FREE unless no choice due to expenses incurred but will be kept at minimal. I am not here to make a single cent from this workshop.

This is a sharing of photography knowledge, skills, tips, etc session with fellow Canon users.

I will post more details in due course once I have finalised the course outlines, etc.

Look out for a new thread under outing the sub-forum in the next 1-2 weeks. ;p

Hi Folks,

Juz got my 400D 2wks ago! Can someone add me to the 400D USer Group?
Thanks! :D

just got mine today. not too excited about the kit lens though. any recommendations for cheap "all-purpose travel" lenses?

btw, add me to the group! ;)

just got mine too. also looking for a walkabout lens.

btw plz add me tooo.

The EFS17-85 IS USM lens is a better lens for it, albeit the bulky part of it, it is a lot better than the kit lens. There are some vignetting wide open on the widest end, but when stop down a bit, it would solve the problem.

Can get it second hand in the shops. Saw it last weekend in two shops around Peninsula. If you are taking architecture and interior decor, go for the EFS10-22mm lens. This two lens would fill the gap from 16mm- 136mm on a 1.6x camera. Again it is an excellent lens and can get it at the second hand shops for a good price.

Fellow 400D users, I have already posted the details under the outing sub-forum, do check it out. :)

Thanks so much jazzyboi!!! really appreciate it. ;) ;)

How much would a second hand EFS17-85 IS USM lens cost, roughly? I'm a student on a tight budget here :(

Cheers, and thanks again!

I bought mine both second hand for around $860 each last year but the ones I saw in the second hand shops is around $900 plus. a bit hefty. Has the value for these two lenses gone up? hmm....

Finally gave it to the temptations and got my 400D today! =) So i'm here to join the club!
