I am suggesting a change of location. Was thinking of hosting this next gathering at f-stop cafe.

location: 17/19 South Bridge Road.
operating hours: 10am to 10pm.

There are mama-store for teh tarik even if we want to hang out till later. What you guys think?

Haha ... "koyok" is quite the term I've not heard for a long time & on hindsight, I really leave the selling to OlySG who does this best

natureTTL has a very nice assortment of close ups. Politely ask for his album when you get to meet him

BTW: F-Stop Cafe isn't very big, if turn-out is good, be there early to book the one largest table ;-)

There are 3 setting there. When are they to be used? and How. The manual do not give a very clear explanation. ( Chapter 5, Page 86 of the Advance manual.) The setting can be found in the menu 1.

Gradation means dynamic range.

High key = shifts range upwards to concentrate on highlights.
Low key = shifts range downwards to concentrate on shadows.
Normal = in between

So, If I have to take a picture with a bright background (ie sky) and a well lit subject but a dark foreground but with lots of details, I have an intention to HDR the picture to bring out the foreground, I should LOW key the shot?

If you're intending to HDR, just use normal gradation and do your bracketing.
