There are a lot of scam online stores in overseas.

Most of the time they quoted very low price baits in order to attract the victims.

Even if it is real store, many a times, you will have problems in the package received, either missing accessories, etc.

Therefore, buy at your own risk.

If you die die must buy online, go for B & H or Adorama.

With recent price cut buy Canon locally, it has narrowed the gap between locally and overseas. But of course, overseas are still cheaper because of various factors such as domestic market size, etc. Hence, do ex. cautious when buying from overseas.

I totally agree with USM. Proceed with caution. Most importantly, let us know once you receive the goods in good condition so that we can all chiong together!!;)

i haven't bought yet. just doing as much background research on this company as possible first. don't really want to waste $2k for something like this.

what i've found is that the seals at the bottom of the page don't seem to link to the organisations that issued them. this seems to be an issue as verisign, cnet and TRUSTe almost always have their logos linked to their site with details on the store, when the seal was awarded and when it'll expire. it is very easy to copy and host the seal on your own server and the seal pictures are currently hosted on their server.

i also haven't been able to find their store/office on oxford st W1D, London (http://www.londononline.co.uk/area/Oxford_Street_W1D/)

so at the moment, buying is to be held off until i get a reply or i might give them a call later. i would rather pay the extra $2k+ and ensure i get everything locally and in my hands if i can't confirm their legitimacy.

Guys, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT WEBSITE! IT IS FAKE. ;(
I have read many forums about that website, it is the copy of Dexdigital.co.uk and some others websites. Some people did order from them and did not get anything.
You can check google for "dexdigital" and find out yourself.
That website says shipping from Korea right? My parents are living in Seoul. I asked them to check and they said there is no such telephone number and the adress is not real.
Seriously, I am sure that website is fake.
I hope you all realize that soon

thanks for that info!

As I have expected the outcome.

This reminded me of the Puchase Power Parity - It is based on the law of one price, i.e. in an efficient market, identical goods must have only one price.

The law of one price states that - "In an efficient market all identical goods must have only one price."

The intuition for this law is that all sellers will flock to the highest prevailing price, and all buyers to the lowest current market price. In an efficient market the convergence on one price is instant.

Difference in prices should not be > 20% for warrantied sets across the regions. If you find a store selling more than 20% cheaper (after converting into your own currency) for a warrantied set, then something is terribly wrong. There is a high chance of a scam.

alamat, I close the order, but chose to send payment by western union. heng ah! I have not made payment yet, anyway, lets see what they come back. I am asking my friend in London to check it out for me

Thanks buddy
:dunno:
