300d firmware 1.1.1 comedy

Jus installed this firmware and:

1. Was delighted that my Sigma 24mm f2.8 finally started to work. The delightment faded away when I realized that it works only wide open, other than that - still Error 99

2. Red indicator of central focusing point, which made me so happy before since it did not work... suddenly started working after upgrade

well, i believe should be other effects, all meaning that the corrections they make go far beyond what they are stating officially

hmm: this brings in a possible warning, that your working third party lens might be broken by a firmware upgrade by canon..

so firmware always do MORE THAN what the manufacturer stated

i am still figuring out what's new with 10D's v2.0.0 firmware
